Alicia Dallago – Alicia Dallago Photography

I am very proud to acknowledge that for 40 years Alicia Photography has been one of the best loved photography studios in Western Pennsylvania. I have been known for my artistic creativity, experience, professionalism, originality and attention to detail. Giving families memories of their children growing up and now, when I restore old photos, preserving memories of their ancestors, have been one of the biggest gifts I have received.

Because of my ability to capture the personality of my subjects, especially children, I have won many awards and honors from my professional peers. Having studied photography under several Master Photographers at Winona International School of Professional Photography, attended many marketing and photography seminars I earned the degrees of Master Photographer and Photographic Craftsman and I am also one of the very few photographers in the U.S.A. that has completed the requirements to receive accreditation from Special Kids Photography of America.

Through the years my images have been on display in Epcot Center, the Cleveland Museum of Art and many local art museums. UPMC Passavant Hospital commissioned me to create children portraits for the “Shhh!” campaign and UPMC Shadyside Hospital decorated its maternity ward with my portraits. My work has been featured regularly on the covers of Pittsburgh Parent and North Hills Monthly magazines.

I have taken portraits of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra’s musicians to be displayed on the main floor gallery. The Pittsburgh Symphony Brass, Cynthia Koledo de Almeida (Principal Oboe) and Christine Soroka, (Flute) from the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, commissioned me to create portraits for their CDs.

My portraits have been selected by Marathon Press to be used in the “Once upon a Lifetime” National Program, published in the Best of College Photography Book, The Best of the Loan Collection Book and Technical Photography Magazine.

I have been asked to speak at the Professional Photographers of America International Convention and many other associations and to teach children photography and marketing to other photographers.

My personal philosophy is to give back to the community with numerous fund-raising and philanthropic efforts. My individual photographic fundraising efforts have resulted in donations of 3000 toys valued $30 each, over $100,000 to local causes. I also established a scholarship for victims of domestic violence, and I am very proud to acknowledge that 16 women graduated from college with the help of my scholarship. I have been a member of the Board of Directors of the Greenbrier Art League, North Hills YWCA, North Hills Community Outreach, Zonta , The Northern Allegheny Chamber of Commerce, (now Pittsburgh North Regional Chamber) member of the Chamber’s Marketing Department, and Board member, Secretary of the Executive Committee and past Board President of Crisis Center North.

Other distinctions include Crisis Center North’s Northern Star Award, Status of Women Award from Zonta International, Shining Star Award from the Adoption Council. I have been recognized as an outstanding woman by the American Association of University Women, named Citizen of the Year by the McKnight Journal, voted Best Photographer in the North Hills (News Record) and the Readers choice Award (North Suburban Gateway Publication) I was featured in Seton Hill University E-Magnify “Entrepreneur’s Corner” and twice my community work was the object of North Hills Monthly Magazine’s Cover Story.

Steve Deal – Create a Legacy

In 2013, I almost died. With no medical reason as to why I survived, I became obsessed with sharing the gifts I previously kept to myself. And entrepreneurship was at the core of my new mission. After decades of being in leadership positions in the IT corporate world, the opportunity arrived to be connected with Isagenix. As a professional network marketer, Isagenix has provided the perfect vehicle for me to fulfill my mission with helping as many people on this planet discover their gifts and become the amazing human beings God created them to be – Body, Mind, Legacy.

Create a Legacy was founded because I have an obligation to my family, friends, and the world to have and share the whole package. There isn’t any reason why you shouldn’t enthusiastically pursue having your whole package. God created the awesome hillsides, the incredible fields of blooming flowers and they take your breath away. God created you, and you have the ability to take your own breath away, to take other people’s breath away, through the life that you are living. God didn’t create you to not have the whole package – Mind, Body, Legacy.

Jason Finn – Geek Chicago

Jason Finn is a Chicago-based business owner with a wide variety of interests. He’s the founder of a digital marketing and web development agency, the co-founder of a successful residential real estate team, and the host of a syndicated poker television show that promotes charities through Chicagoland. He’s a real estate investor, a husband, and the father of two elementary school-aged children.

While some small business owners pursue their interests in succession — serial entrepreneurs — Jason somehow manages to keep all of these balls in the air at the same time.

“When I started my digital marketing agency, Geek Chicago, in 2011, I started lean, with minimal overhead, and used my income from real estate and poker to fund the growing company. I imagined I would build it to a point, and then begin to pull back from real estate. Here we are nearly ten years later, and despite the challenging business climate we’re living in, I’m on the verge of one of my strongest real estate years, while Geek Chicago continues to grow,” says Finn.

The key to being successful across a number of pursuits is two-fold, Jason shares. First, it’s really important to have systems for communication and organization. Second, and more importantly, putting the right people around you is absolutely critical. “We look for talent and personality fit first,” he says. “If someone is smart, a team player, and driven to be successful, they can learn the tools to be a value to our clients.”

Whether because of his successes, or as the source of them, Jason feels a strong sense of community and giving back. He is an avid and frequent networker, having been a member and officer in his local BNI chapter for nine years. His role in poker has allowed him to meet sports, media, and entertainment personalities to leverage those relationships into opportunities, not just for business, but also for raising money for a number of charities. As a board member for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago, Jason co-organized some of the first-ever charity poker tournaments in Chicago. Through his work as a host and assistant producer on Windy City Poker Championship (NBC Sports Chicago), he has helped raise money for numerous Chicago organizations, including and especially Shady Oaks Camp, a summer camp for people with disabilities.  In the last few years, Jason served on the Goodwill Works Committee at Baird & Warner Real Estate, where he helped organize an annual ProHowbition event, a prohibition-style gaming event that raises money for Housing Opportunities for Women, an Illinois 501(c)(3). In 2018 and 2019, Jason joined the Goodwill Committee, and fellow real estate professionals, in building two Habitat for Humanity homes in one of Chicago’s most underserved neighborhoods. And in 2020, when group gatherings are discouraged, Jason has participated in a weekly online poker game that has raised more than $20,000 for local businesses in his community.

“There’s no joy in celebrating your own successes while ignoring the challenges of others. Through empathy of experience, compassion for others, and just good old human connection we can experience the best of life, while giving a little boost to help others to do the same.”

Marissa Foht – Moksha Physical & Mental Training

Photo by MEDIA – The Creative Agency

When you’re on the journey to losing weight to change your life, Marissa has that natural light within her that truly empowers you and lifts you up, and it all started by accident.

While getting her degrees, Marissa had her eyes and heart set on working with athletes. Being an athlete herself throughout college and understanding the psychological struggles of athletes, that is where she felt like she could make the most impact on people’s lives. Thankfully – her graduate school adviser offered another opportunity for her thesis research to be conducted in the University’s weight management clinic. While disappointed to not be working with athletes as intended, this is when she made the transition from where she thought her impact was with youth athletes to perform better in their sports to helping overweight individuals regain control over their health and entire lives.

Marissa is an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist and Mental Skills Coach. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science at Slippery Rock University. Marissa went on to receive her Master of Science degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She has spent years working in a variety of fitness settings where she gained experience working with youth athletes, older populations, overweight individuals, and individuals with chronic disease. She conducted research at SIUE Weight Management Clinic where she worked with weight loss clients looking to not just lose weight, but also change their lifestyle to maintain their weight loss through mental skills inventions.

When she earned her degrees, she realized there was no organization out there working on all the elements needed to truly make a change within when it comes to an individual’s health. There wasn’t anything that worked together on mindset, exercise, and diet in a long-lasting comprehensive way. That’s why she felt the need to bring her services forward to people who truly needed a deep impact when it came to changing their lives health-wise, which in turn impacted their entire being for the better.

Her motivation for helping her clients comes from a desire to see others have a healthy relationship with exercise and food so that they can flourish into healthy, confident individuals who realize their capabilities are more than they ever imagined. Marissa’s philosophy is that if you train your mind first, your body will naturally follow. She believes that this is the key to maintaining weight loss for the rest of your life–and doing it on your own.

If you are willing to try things that are new and outside of your comfort zone and embrace lifestyle changes with a positive attitude, for the sake of a new sense of self and health, then you’ve found your person. Marissa’s clients get amazing results when they are determined with a no-quit attitude and are able to push through the difficult moments and use it as fuel to keep going forward. Before you know it, when you’re working with Marissa, you’ll believe that you have everything you need to reach your goals, even if you have to work together to dig deep and pull out that belief. She’s got you.

Manjri Gupta – Axios Tutoring

I hold a B.S in Chemistry and an M.B.A in Finance. My career began within the walls of big corporate climates, but I have made learning my life’s work. I always believed in the value of education. But teaching Sunday school in Houston brought me to the realization that I also enjoy reaching out to young adults.

I am now owner of Axios Tutoring. I have now been working with students for over ten years, helping them navigate school, standardized tests, college admissions and transition to college. It is rewarding to watch them grow beyond the distractions of adolescence into the forward-thinking adults of the future. Hearing from parents about where their children are headed after high school is one of the best parts of the job.

Every student brings their own unique journey to us. Every family dynamic is different. I meet with families and prioritize getting to know who their students are—beyond the numbers and scores. I listen and observe what they and their parents say. We talk about their strengths and limitations, outlining the expectations on both sides. Together, we design a program tailored to their specific study needs.

Because everybody learns differently, I work to find the right path for each student. I monitor their progress closely and keep parents in the loop. If something is not working, we go back to the drawing board and refine our strategy. Learning is a lifelong journey. My door is always open, and I am only a phone call away.

Stacy Raske – Stacy Raske Soulful Success Coach

Owning my POWER was the key to my journey to healing, alignment and stepping into my full power! Embracing my badass Alpha, showing up as fully ME…which I spent a lifetime hiding (even when I thought I wasn’t). I numbed out to avoid and hide my truth because I learned to play the “Good Girl” to avoid rejection or making others feel bad (hello people–pleaser). I was exhausted wearing a mask of who I SHOULD be that I numbed out to avoid the pain.

At my rock bottom, I was numbing out with work, food (eating disorder), TV, social media, drugs and meds, large amounts of alcohol, and even self–harm…anything to change how I was feeling in that moment because I was living a life FAR from the REAL me.

My PTSD was chronically triggered and I no idea. At my rock bottom, I was 100 lbs overweight, struggling with chronic pain and inflammation, and completely OUT OF CONTROL, inside and out!

My health, life, marriage and career falling apart!

So, I KNOW YOU and where you’re at right now.

I also know, it only takes a few adjustments to step into your FULL POWER and SHINE!

I’ve done more in 5 years than many do in a lifetime!

Here are some crazy FUN FACTS:

  • I graduated from North Pole High School in ALASKA!
  • I joined the Army in early 2001 and 9/11 happened on my way to first duty station.
  • After the Army, I went to college, finishing four years in only three and graduating valedictorian.
  • My bachelor’s degree is in biology.
  • I was a pharmaceutical chemist for seven years.
  • I stopped eating meat about a year ago with my diet ranging from raw vegan and fruitarian to pescatarian. So, I’m currently a Flexitarian.
  • I’m an Ordained Minister.
  • I can’t snap my fingers and generate sound. LOL!

He first joined the U.S. Army Reserve in September 2002 as a track vehicle mechanic, but transferred into the public affairs field in 2005, and officially graduated from the Defense Information School as a 46Q in March, 2006. Since that time, Sauret has worked as a public affairs journalist, photographer, training and operations NCO at the 354th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment, acting command sergeant major for the 361st Press Camp Headquarters and as a communication strategist at two division-level headquarters, including the 416th Theater Engineer Command, the 200th Military Police Command and his current assignment.

His public affairs work has greatly helped him understand the U.S. Army Reserve mission from a strategic perspective. Sauret has written multiple communication plans, proposed public affairs guidance documents and media engagement plans in support of two-star commands. He supported the Office of the Chief of Army Reserve on three editions of the “Army Reserve at a Glance” book, published specifically to communicate Army Reserve capabilities to the U.S. Congress and state governors.

Sauret is three-time Emmy nominated video producer and Emmy winning director, along with the 2018 Army Storyteller of the Year winner and 2018 Military Visual Awards Photographer of the Year. In 2009 he earned the title of Army Journalist of the Year for his stories and coverage while deployed to Iraq (2008-2009), with the 10th Mountain Division. His photography, writing and videos have won dozens of Brumfield, Keith L. Ware, Thomas Jefferson, Defense Media Activity and MILPHOG Awards, serving to promote the military mission international audiences. His military work has been published both in print and online by the National Geographic, USA Today, Military Times, Army Times, Stars and Stripes, RAND, Warrior Citizen, GX Magazine, Task & Purpose, along with other independent military websites, civilian newspapers and dozens of DoD publications reaching millions of viewers.

Sauret graduated from Battle Staff NCO Course on the Commandant’s Honor List at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin (January 2016). He was the Distinguished Honor Graduate for both his Advanced Leadership (July 2011) and Senior Leadership Courses (August 2012) at the Signal Corps Regimental Noncommissioned Officer Academy for Public Affairs at Fort Meade, Maryland. He holds a bachelor’s degree in English Writing from the University of Pittsburgh, which he put to use by publishing three books. His short story collection, “Amidst Traffic,” won the International Book Awards and received finalist selections in three national indie book competitions.

In addition to his personal accomplishments, Sauret mentored the U.S. Army Journalist of the Year (2016), the U.S. Army Reserve photographer of the Year (2016), the U.S. Army Reserve Outstanding New Writer (2016), and the U.S. Army Military Photographer of the Year (2017) – all “Top Honor” awards. He organized, hosted and supported public affairs workshops at the U.S. Army and DoD levels from 2015-2019.

Sauret has received two Meritorious Service Medals, four Army Commendation Medals and four Army Achievement Medals, among other ribbons and awards for his duty and commitment to the U.S. Army.

He is still fluent in Italian. Sauret is married to his wife, Heather, of 13 years. Together they have four children: Phoenix, Asher, Anakai and Zephan, all boys.

Married to my high school sweetheart for the past 12 years, 5 sons; Jackson age 11, Jude age 10, Holland age 5, Wilde age 2 and Wrenley 11 months. We love being at home together, thankfully for how our past few months have been J. When we’re not at home it’s normally because we’re at the soccer fields.

I opened the doors to my business just over three years ago. My relationship with State Farm started quite a while prior to opening my doors. My mother worked in a State Farm agents office when I was little and I spent a lot of my childhood stuffing envelopes and listening to her talk to them about life insurance to families. For the past 16 years or so I worked in a few agents offices around the Pittsburgh area helping the families they protect with life insurance just as I grew up hearing. When I had the opportunity to open my own business, I knew I wanted it to be with State Farm products.

Being a part of a community of professional women has been a blessing beyond measure. It’s a part of my professional life and growth that I never even knew I was missing.
